About this treatment

During treatment, the ProCell device creates thousands of tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin. These micro-injuries activate the body’s natural repair process while allowing professional serums to be incorporated into the treatment.

What Can ProCell Microchanneling Help Improve?

Microchanneling is an excellent option for clients concerned with:

01

What Makes ProCell Different?

ProCell Microchanneling uses a stamping technique rather than dragging or rolling needles across the skin. This creates controlled, consistent microchannels while minimizing unnecessary surface trauma.

At Lavender Skin Therapy, we customize the depth and treatment approach according to your skin condition, treatment area and individual goals.

02

Professional Serum Infusion

Microchanneling can be paired with specialized professional serums selected according to your skin’s needs. Options may include Procell growth-factor serums or advanced regenerative serums such as PDRN, depending on the treatment performed.

Following microchanneling, we focus on hydration, calming and recovery support.

03

What to Expect After Treatment

Immediately afterward, the skin may appear pink or red and feel warm, tight or mildly sensitive, similar to a light sunburn. Some clients experience temporary dryness or mild flaking as the skin recovers.

Downtime is generally relatively short, but this varies depending on treatment depth and individual skin response. Following the recommended home-care instructions and protecting the skin from sun exposure are especially important.

04

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Although a single treatment can leave the skin looking refreshed, concerns such as acne scarring, wrinkles, pigmentation and loss of firmness generally benefit from a series of treatments.

Because collagen remodeling occurs gradually, improvements continue to develop over time rather than appearing all at once.

Procell Microchanneling at Lavender Skin Therapy

Our approach combines advanced skin rejuvenation with the experience of a customized facial. Depending on the treatment selected, your appointment may include professional cleansing and exfoliation, ProCell Microchanneling with a targeted serum, a hydrating recovery mask, LED Light Therapy, finishing products and post-treatment skincare guidance.

The goal: smoother texture, improved firmness, more even-looking skin and progressive rejuvenation through your skin’s own renewal process.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Microchanneling and Microneedling?

Both treatments create controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the natural healing response and support collagen and elastin production.

ProCell Microchanneling uses a precise stamping technique that creates uniform microchannels rather than repeatedly dragging or rolling needles across the skin. This allows us to customize the treatment depth while minimizing unnecessary surface trauma.

At Lavender Skin Therapy, ProCell Microchanneling is combined with professional serums and customized recovery care to support skin rejuvenation.

Most clients experience approximately 1–2 days of social downtime.

Immediately following treatment, your skin may look and feel similar to a mild sunburn. You may experience:

  • Redness or pinkness
  • Warmth or sensitivity
  • Tightness
  • Dryness
  • Mild swelling
  • Light flaking as the skin recovers

The intensity and duration vary depending on treatment depth, skin sensitivity, and individual healing response.

Your skin barrier is temporarily more vulnerable after treatment, so proper aftercare is very important.

Use the ProCell post-care serum/products provided or recommended by Lavender Skin Therapy and follow your individualized instructions carefully. Keep your skincare routine simple and gentle while the skin is recovering.

Avoid makeup for approximately the first 24 hours, and avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, scrubs, strong active ingredients, saunas, steam rooms, swimming, and strenuous exercise during the initial recovery period as directed. Do not pick or exfoliate dry or flaking skin.

Once appropriate, use broad-spectrum SPF daily and be particularly diligent about protecting the treated skin from direct sun exposure.

For facial rejuvenation, treatments are generally scheduled approximately every 4–6 weeks, allowing the skin time to recover and progress through its natural remodeling process.

Your schedule may be adjusted depending on your skin condition, treatment depth, and goals.

For visible, progressive correction, we typically recommend a series of approximately 4 treatments.

Concerns such as acne scarring, wrinkles, pigmentation, texture, and loss of firmness usually respond better to a series than to a single treatment.

Results develop gradually because collagen remodeling continues after the treatment itself.

ProCell Microchanneling can be performed year-round, provided you are able to protect your skin carefully from the sun.

Fall and winter can be particularly convenient because UV exposure is often easier to limit. Regardless of the season, avoid intentional tanning and significant sun exposure before and after treatment and use sunscreen consistently.

Yes. Treatment depth and serum selection can be adjusted according to your skin condition and goals.

At Lavender Skin Therapy, Microchanneling may be incorporated with Procell professional serums, PDRN, LED Light Therapy, hydrating recovery masks, and customized post-treatment care, when appropriate.

Microchanneling may need to be postponed or avoided if you have certain conditions. Examples include active skin infections, open wounds, active cold sores/herpes outbreaks, significant active inflammatory acne in the treatment area, impaired wound healing, certain bleeding disorders or medications, uncontrolled medical conditions, or a history of problematic/keloid scarring.

Treatment is generally avoided during pregnancy, and certain medications including recent isotretinoin use need to be discussed before treatment.

Recent chemical peels, laser procedures, excessive sun exposure or sunburn, waxing, and other aggressive skin treatments may also require an appropriate waiting period.

Because contraindications depend on your health history, medications, and the condition of your skin, every client should complete a consultation and health-history form before treatment.

Please contact us before your appointment if you develop a cold sore, rash, infection, open lesion, significant breakout, sunburn, or unusual skin irritation in the treatment area. It may be safer to reschedule rather than treat compromised skin.
