Joanna’s passion for skincare began in her early twenties in Poland, where she worked as a skincare consultant while earning her teaching degree from the University of Wroclaw. After relocating to Colorado nearly 20 years ago, she built her career in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
Joanna received her esthetician license from Glenwood Beauty Academy in 2012 and went on to work in some of the prestigious luxury resorts and spas of Aspen and Snowmass Village. Her experience in high-end hospitality helped shape her approach to skincare today: treatments should be results-driven and highly personalized while still providing the relaxation, attention to detail, and exceptional care of a luxury spa experience.
Committed to continuing education, Joanna has pursued extensive advanced esthetics training and holds certifications in microneedling and microchanneling, professional chemical peels, laser treatments, dermaplaning, lash lifts, and advanced HyperPlasma treatments. She has also completed advanced education through the Colorado Advanced Esthetics School, further expanding her knowledge of corrective and professional skincare techniques.
At Lavender Skin Therapy, Joanna combines modern technology and advanced skincare with an intuitive, European-inspired approach. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all protocol, she carefully considers each client’s skin, lifestyle, concerns, and long-term goals when developing a treatment plan.
Her work ranges from customized and restorative facials to more advanced corrective treatments for concerns such as aging, pigmentation, acne, uneven texture, scarring, and overall skin rejuvenation.
Today, as the owner of Lavender Skin Therapy in Glenwood Springs, Joanna is proud to bring together the experience of a luxury resort spa, advanced esthetic technology, clean professional skincare, and the personalized attention of a boutique studio.
Her philosophy is simple: great skincare begins with understanding the person behind the skin.
Mike began his career as a massage therapist in 2005 after receiving his professional training through the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Tempe, Arizona. His passion for massage and bodywork later took him to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where he continued his education at TMC School in Chiang Mai, gaining additional hands-on training and exposure to traditional approaches to therapeutic bodywork.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked as a massage therapist in Vail, Beaver Creek, and Aspen, giving him extensive experience working with active clients, travelers, athletes, and guests seeking both therapeutic relief and restorative relaxation.
Mike specializes in a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and injury-specific bodywork. His approach is personalized to each client, allowing him to adjust pressure, technique, and areas of focus based on individual needs.
Outside of the treatment room, Mike has a lifelong passion for the outdoors, hiking, and travel. An accomplished hiker, he has climbed all of Colorado’s fourteeners. His travels have taken him around the world, including Russia, Zimbabwe, Thailand, and Northern Europe, experiences that have contributed to his appreciation for different cultures and approaches to wellness.
At Lavender Skin Therapy, Mike combines decades of hands-on experience with a thoughtful, individualized approach to help clients relax, recover, release muscular tension, and feel restored.
Marie began her nursing career in 1993 and transitioned into plastic surgery in 2006, working alongside plastic surgeons while beginning her career as an aesthetic injector. Her experience in the plastic surgery setting provided her with a strong understanding of facial anatomy, skin physiology, and the nuances of creating balanced aesthetic results.
In 2015, Marie relocated from Orange County, California to Denver and established her own aesthetic practice. Since then, she has continued to provide personalized injectable treatments, developing a reputation for a thoughtful, conservative approach that enhances rather than changes her clients’ natural features.
Marie believes the best aesthetic results are subtle and refined. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals and carefully considers facial structure and individual features before recommending treatment. Her gentle technique and attention to detail allow her to create results that leave clients looking refreshed and naturally rejuvenated.
Today, Marie provides Botox® and injectable treatments at Lavender Skin Therapy on select RN appointment days, bringing her years of nursing, plastic surgery, and aesthetic experience to the private, comfortable setting of our studio.
Tami received her professional massage therapy education at Capri College in Dubuque, Iowa, where she completed her training and began what has become a two-decade career in therapeutic bodywork. Throughout her career, she has worked in respected spa settings throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, including the Spa of the Rockies in Glenwood Springs, as well as in Snowmass Village.
Tami’s work centers on the mind-body connection, with particular attention to the nervous system and its relationship to tension, discomfort, and overall well-being. Her approach incorporates somatic massage and Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT) with the goal of helping the body return to a greater sense of balance and homeostasis.
She is also certified in advanced lymphatic drainage techniques and kinesiology taping, allowing her to incorporate specialized techniques according to each client’s individual needs.
Tami believes massage is about more than working with muscles. Her sessions are personalized and intentional, creating an environment where clients can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience restorative care.
Tami and her daughter have called the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley home for 17 years. Outside of her work, she enjoys the natural beauty of Colorado and especially loves her favorite seasons—fall and winter.
At Lavender Skin Therapy, Tami brings together 20 years of experience, specialized training, and an intuitive approach to bodywork, offering therapeutic massage, nervous-system-focused techniques, lymphatic support, and truly individualized care.
