Neuromodulator injections for forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet.
Botox relaxes the muscles that cause expression lines, softening forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet while keeping your natural expression. All injectable services are performed by a licensed provider after a consultation.
Botox® is an injectable treatment that uses botulinum toxin type A to temporarily relax specific muscles. By reducing repeated muscle movement, Botox can soften the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles, particularly in areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes.
At Lavender Skin Therapy, Botox treatments are offered by our Registered Nurse (RN). A consultation helps determine whether Botox is appropriate for you and which areas may benefit from treatment.

Common cosmetic areas include forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet. Our RN will evaluate your concerns and determine appropriate treatment areas during your consultation.
Some people begin noticing changes within several days, but the full effect may take approximately 10–14 days.
Results commonly last around 3–4 months, although this varies depending on the individual, treatment area, and dosage.
Usually very little. Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection sites can occur.
At Lavender Skin Therapy, we recommend waiting 2 weeks after Botox before receiving a facial or other facial treatment. If you want both, schedule your facial before your Botox appointment.
We recommend scheduling your massage before Botox rather than afterward, particularly because lying face-down and pressure around the face should be avoided immediately following treatment. Follow the specific aftercare timeline provided by our RN.
Your injector may recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for the remainder of the day or for approximately 24 hours. Follow the instructions provided by your RN.
Many injectors recommend remaining upright for approximately 4 hours after treatment. Your RN will provide your specific aftercare instructions.
Usually yes, but avoid rubbing or applying significant pressure to the injection sites. Ask your RN when it is appropriate to reapply makeup.
Botox isn’t appropriate for everyone. Be sure to tell the RN about your medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous reactions to botulinum toxin products, and any recent cosmetic procedures. Your RN will determine whether treatment is appropriate.
There isn’t one number that works for everyone. The number of units depends on the treatment area, muscle strength, anatomy, desired result, and your injector’s assessment.
The goal of cosmetic Botox is generally to soften excessive muscle movement while maintaining a natural appearance. Your desired level of movement should be discussed with your RN before treatment.
A simple rule at Lavender is:
FACIAL → BOTOX → WAIT 2 WEEKS → RESUME FACIAL TREATMENTS
